Welcome to the Cannaba Verum podcast, the cannabis truth podcast. I speak the language of cannabis freely and uncensored, while educating my audience on the safe use of this live Plant Therapy. You should know what’s in your cannabis, what’s good and what’s not. It does not come with an FDA stamp of approval yet, using cannabis mindfully, as medication is a different concept in the healthcare philosophy of the past 100 years. There’s a lot to learn and consider cannabis is not dangerous, but it is not harmless, either. This is honey Smith walls, a 21st century cannabis shaman here to explain the language of cannabis in historical, political, and scientific terms, so you can make educated decisions about the medicine you ingest.

Are you there. Hello. Hi, Miss Fiona How are you today. Well, where are we we’re somewhere in the middle of the month in the middle of a kind of a gray day aren’t we, it’s a little cloudy out today a little hard on the bones I will say, oh yeah that too. Yeah, it really is. I, I walked the puppies this morning out in all that fog. And it was very eerie and weird and balancing walking around the pond. I bet you hear my puppy squeak.
Unknown 1:19
She’s just having a hay day over there. So, so hi how are you and welcome to Mt.
Unknown 1:27
Eight, I said it before you this time did not. Yes you did.
Unknown 1:33
Thank you for helping me remember that Tim so glad you’re here. And what do you, what are you working on today to help you during this cloudy rainy affecting massive soupy weather we’re in. I actually just Medicaid and was smoking a joint of hybrid called Riddler from trulieve, it’s one of their grown flowers strands and Riddler Riddler, I love that. That’s great. It’s so fun all the different names of, you know, different strains of flower and, yeah, all the different products like the one I mentioned last week was the dream Cush that I was smoking in a joint, but yeah that’s right I remember Girl Scout cookies too Yes girl scout cookies in the distillate so I was dabbing that.
Unknown 2:30
Right. Wow. It just tickles me to hear all the different ways that you can see him. And, and I can’t wait for companies to start coming out with, with edibles edibles adult use edibles, you know, I guess I should say, although you know I always want it to be medicinal a grown. I don’t care if you use it, how you use it. Just however you want to make you feel better or happy or whatever, right, yes.
Unknown 3:02
Yeah.
Unknown 3:04
So, so edibles will be fun when they finally figure out how to do them properly. The hardest thing with edibles is the dosing, you know, because there is no exact dosing you just dose to yourself, and it’s it yeah it’s yeah I will say you buy a chai know that trulieve has their chocolate bars that I would love to try and I’ve heard I believe there’s like 1010 little squares. And so, you know, do you try just a half a square do you try a whole square you know is the chocolate really good are you going to want to try more but you shouldn’t because you need to wait for the onset of medicine. So, that’s the problem yes yeah if you don’t know how to, if you don’t know how to do adult use edibles.
Unknown 3:57
You could be in for a huge surprise surprise there, and it may not be a nice one, no animals seem to be more even if you get a sativa based edible you still it’s more of a body Hi, so you get that body relaxation you get that body you know it’s it’s not, it’s not as so much as a head high, it’s all more, you know, a deep body relaxation especially with an IndyCar.
Unknown 4:30
That’s a very interesting concept now as I’m trying to mush it around in my head. If you’re getting us tiba.
Unknown 4:43
Oh gosh, I think I just jumped that railroad track. Oh well.
Unknown 4:50
Just really lost my.
Unknown 4:53
You’re just gonna have to help me out we’re talking about cars, and if. Oh, thank you. Yes. Okay, so what I realized soon off too is that the companies making the edibles are having a real issue in shelf life. How do you make something like that, you know, with a long enough shelf life to be effective, you know, there’s just a lot going on, and also the, the containers may have issues for edible. Oh just all sorts of stuff, you know we’re all just in the very beginning of all this fun so that’s why I was talking about it, and even giving feedback to our dispensaries even talking, you know, to your bud tenders on how, how it worked for you if you did have the chocolate bar stored for, say, a week or so, how did you store it and how did it, you know, how did it keep right did you put it in the refrigerator or did you just leave it out in the sun or maybe kept it in your purse.
Unknown 6:03
And some people that couldn’t get some people freeze their chocolate so if you froze that, how long how much longer would the onset be.
Unknown 6:22
Hey this is honey and I just wanted to take a second to tell you about podcasting with anchor.

Unknown 7:29
I don’t know enough about edibles to sound.
Unknown 7:34
Hardly intelligent, hardly about it. But I do know that they have, they, they affect you differently, and more for a longer amount of time than the other ways of ingesting, yes. And so, it’s.
Unknown 7:59
It is a very difficult feeling to articulate.
Unknown 8:08
It’s almost.
Unknown 8:10
It’s almost like Twilight in your legs.
Unknown 8:17
Isn’t it oh maybe. And you know, very deep, relax, I get most of the edibles I’ve ever tried are in the codebase so I’m looking for that deep relaxation and deep pain relief, where I, you know, like in your bone deep pain relief you need so the edibles that’s what it’s like, yeah, that’s what it feels like it feels like it’s gone into your bone.
Unknown 8:46
And that’s the oddest sensation, and one completely unfamiliar, and it radiates out outward, kind of, again, you know, goes in and feels like you know, there’s this radiation starting from my neck, and going down into my shoulders and, you know, that feels good round my ribs down around my knees my hips and. Wow, this is, this is a completely different feeling I’ve ever had before and it’s so hard to articulate and you just did it, it goes into your bones. Yes, because you, it’s just when I experienced the feeling, it was like, whoa. Is this normal or right you know but then I was like wow I feel a lot more relaxed I feel like I can take a nap or go to sleep at night, and like that, that’s more you know, the, the indika strains in the evening or late afternoon is the best time to take those as an edible especially.
Unknown 9:49
Right.
Unknown 9:51
If you need an edible for those reasons, go to it.
Unknown 9:56
If you just want an edible for the high, go to it.
Unknown 10:01
But I still think that edibles are vastly more expensive because your liver filters out 60% of it.
Unknown 10:14
And so you’re just wasting 60% of that medication. Going through your liver. But that’s the only way that you can get it to go into your bones like wow what a feeling what a feeling. It really is. It’s a glorious feeling, it’s it’s a very nice way. Yeah, just be relaxed and it really is.
Unknown 10:40
Yeah. So, I know, I know they’re, you know, Maybe I should try and edible, or, or make my own raw and and start my regimen for a raw recipe that will be a little less costly than an edible that has to get heated up probably and processed several ways.
Unknown 11:14
So, so that’s something to consider too There’s a tea. That’s a raw recipe you just use some raw cannabis, whether it’s hemp or marijuana and chop it up real finely and add a little olive oil to it, and then let it sit overnight in an airtight container.
Unknown 11:38
And then begin using it, bout a xanthones, eight, or a 16th of a teaspoonful. And that doesn’t alleviate the aches and pains in poor old arthritic hands at least that’s the way I do it.
Unknown 12:00
Is there a certain amount of hours that you leave it. Soaking.
Unknown 12:04
Well, the recipe I use just calls to leave it overnight, like on the counter in, you know, room temperature, and you’re just processing it in plain old olive oil. So, are you know, any kind of your favorite oil would process it but it. The point is that the process that the oil manifests with the chemicals, of the cannabis is much more gentle on the acidic compounds that are very very delicate. And those acidic compounds have like the acid form of cannabis dialled of CBD is CBD a, and that acid form is more potent than just then decarboxylated CBD, or cannabidiol. So, if you can get your CBD, A,
Unknown 13:18
which is very delicate and easily.
Unknown 13:24
I don’t want to say, well yeah burnt up in decarboxylation.
Unknown 13:29
If you can get your CBD a instead, or a long will then you’re getting a much much more potent product. So you can go to the dispensary and you can buy very very clean, Cannabis, or you can go to a hemp store and you can buy very clean cannabis as long as you’re checking their third party lab tests. Right.
Unknown 13:55
And, and you can take it home and and Blender that stuff up until it’s almost powder and then just throw a little olive oil on it to cover it and let it sit all night it should be the consistency of like Play Doh.
Unknown 14:12
Okay. When. Okay, so, so it’s not a lot. You know, you’re gonna go buy a little can of pot at the dispensary for what 3540 bucks and bring it home and chop that up, that’s not going to make a whole lot but it’ll get you started chop it all up, put it back in that same container and throw a little oil in it just enough to cover and then let it sit overnight on your counter.
Unknown 14:37
And then, you know, mix it up, then. And then when you open up the jar the next day.
Unknown 14:45
Just swallow a little bit of it, tiny tiny tiny little micro dose of it, and set yourself a regimen for, you know, once or twice a day see how that. See how that affects your body, and keep going from there titrating until you find your sweet spot.
Unknown 15:03
So that’s a real good way to save money using cannabis.
Unknown 15:08
And all that’s in my book, the language of cannabis that I’m about to publish to I can’t wait for a third sighting. I know I can’t wait to get it out I’m just so excited about it it’s already been through one scientist for editing and it’s got a couple more to go through and then.
Unknown 15:26
So, you know, there’s a lot of ways to find a lot of a lot of valuable ways to ingest and consume cannabis clean cannabis always clean, always make sure you’re getting the clean stuff. And, and, and you can save your pennies, by doing it one way as opposed to another, but you also can add huge value in medicinal value in your regimen. By using one way, as opposed to another. So, there’s so much strategizing to do. There’s so much and we want to remind our audience of the letter that you created on our Canon virum website, and choose sweet. Well, it was Fiona that gave me the idea. You know her whole story about all these doctors that she had to go to and through for years and years and years, coming out on the other side of a deep dark hole of opioids and nursing homes for crying out loud at a very young age, and pain and good night. Anyway, she went through all these, these horrific experiences and now we’ve got her out on the other side and in the sunshine of cannabis. But it was she who made me realize we need a letter to your doctor, your primary care physician. The one who doesn’t know anything about cannabis and doesn’t know that you want to try cannabis and may not approve of it, but he doesn’t know anything about it. Or he just may be completely propagandized about it or, or, you know, for whatever reason, so I’ve written a letter that you can you can download for free won’t even cost you your email, you can just go to my website at cannibal verum.com. That’s ca n, n, a BA v e r u m.com. You know what that means. It means cannabis truth in Latin, and that’s the name of my business cannabis Aram, So you just go to canva.com and download that dear doctor letter for yourself and sign it and date it and take it in with you or you can send it to him by email or, you know, if you have his have happened to have his personal telephone number you can shoot it to him in a text. So in any event, it opens the door for a conversation between you and your primary care physician to talk about adding cannabis to your medicinal regimen.
Unknown 18:32
So there you have actually and that is an excellent way to go about talking to your doctor if you are feeling a little overwhelmed to do so. And it will definitely help you start the conversation.
Unknown 18:49
Yeah, just armed you with a couple of tools to go in and once you read the letter you’ll feel better yourself about starting the conversation so to check it out. We’re it’s there for you for free and we hope you’ll use it and spread it around give it to as many people as you want, download it as many times make as many copies and, and just pass them out and leave them at the grocery store if you want.
Unknown 19:14
I bet you don’t go to the grocery store very much. No, no, not very often them either. No, neither. Anyway, and a vaccine is here, hurrah. So we’ve got a lot to look forward to.
Unknown 19:29
Amen.
Unknown 19:32
We do. Yeah, we do.
Unknown 19:35
What are you doing this Christmas dear How are you going to be celebrating. Thankfully I have my youngest daughter coming into town on Friday and I haven’t seen her for quite a few months I’m very excited. She’ll be here to celebrate Christmas with my older daughter and my grandbaby.
Unknown 19:53
Oh how precious Thank you. That’s sweet. That’s sweet.
Unknown 19:58
Nobody in my band or I get to be with our kids so we made.
Unknown 20:04
Happy videos and Christmas videos for, you know, for all our loved ones and we’ll be sending those out. So that was kind of a great idea.
Unknown 20:14
And we had a lot of fun doing it. So, let me know if you have a friend that you want me to send a Happy Christmas. Merry Christmas video to and all next time my band gets together we’ll, we’ll videotape for you. Thank you. Yeah. Hey, I hope you do have a very Merry Happy, Happy wonderful Hanukkah and Christmas and all of those, you know, special holidays, whether you’re whether whether you’re a Hanukkah, or Christmas, doesn’t matter. We just want you to start feeling better and looking towards a very very bright and hopeful future in the new year coming. What do you say we take the next week off and, or, or maybe we’ll call in and have a sing along or something. On Christmas Day or something. Sounds good.
Unknown 21:06
All right, darling. Thanks so much for joining me today for another moment of clarity. It’s so wonderful to get together with my pleasure.
Unknown 21:15
All right, to talk again real soon.
Unknown 21:20
Hey it’s me honey and I just thought you might be interested in hearing the dear doctor letter, before I let you go. So, here it is. Dear doctor. This letter is an invitation to discuss what you know about the effects of cannabis, and how it could possibly help any of my particular conditions that we’ve been working on for some time. The side effects of the synthetic drugs we’ve already tried are more than I want to live with and impede my desired quality of life. I need to change. And now that the state of Florida recognizes cannabis medicinal Lee. I’m considering it for some of my conditions. I would like to try to reduce the number of medications, I am currently using the synthetic medications inefficiently target, only one problem yet gives me too many negative side effects to deal with, which hardly makes the remedy worth the pain, and then combined several meds and I have brain fog.
Unknown 22:31
Instead, I want to try a natural live plant therapy that I hear has potential for relief from several issues at once. My research shows that all humans and animals have an endocannabinoid system and ECS of receptors that plays a crucial role in helping the body maintain homeostasis. A wellness.
Unknown 22:57
The ECS tries to manage our sleep and moods and regulate our body, and we produce natural cannabinoids like an and amide and to AG, which is also found in breast milk, those particular receptors bind perfectly with the compounds in cannabis. And because there are over 400 chemical varieties chemo of ours in cannabis. There is an entourage effect between them, that manages all kinds of issues in our body simultaneously. And if managed properly without any nasty side effects.
Unknown 23:37
I’m providing some links for you to conduct your own review of the current leading science from American and European researchers, using controlled random trials, and whose citations may be found at the following American Medical sites online at Jama network.com at pubmed.ncbi.in i, m dot h h.gov at research. gate.com.
Unknown 24:17
Please review their data about my particular conditions, and how effective cannabis is for them. So we can discuss it together. I would like for us to be on the same page about this new period of trial and titration to find the right cannabis dosage, and I would like for you to monitor my progress on this path, so that you can see what the effects are for yourself, supporting my efforts during this trial. Thank you for helping me investigate new relief through this Ancient Medicine. I look forward to our next conversation about my health and quality of life, your patient signed with your name and date.
