Welcome to the Cannaba Verum podcast, the cannabis truth podcast. I speak the language of cannabis freely and uncensored, while educating my audience on the safe use of this live Plant Therapy. You should know what’s in your cannabis, what’s good and what’s not. It does not come with an FDA stamp of approval yet, using cannabis mindfully, as medication is a different concept in the healthcare philosophy of the past 100 years. There’s a lot to learn and consider cannabis is not dangerous, but it is not harmless, either. This is honey Smith walls, a 21st century cannabis shaman here to explain the language of cannabis in historical, political, and scientific terms, so you can make educated decisions about the medicine you ingest.
Segment 1 – Kids and Carts
I was taking my pack of five pups out for a little waltz around the block when we came upon a street light and had to wait before crossing.
About the time I pulled my vape pen out for the wait… a herd of young male colts pulled up in a parental golf cart, oohin and ahhin over my pack. The one driving looked all of 10 and the others not much older when one of them boldly hollered, “Hey can I hava hit off yer cart?”
It took me a second to realize he wanted to use my vape pen and I laughed indignantly and said in my most discouraging teacher’s voice, “NO! GO GET YER OWN WHEN YOU BECOME A PATIENT And DON’T SHARE MEDS! YOU CAN KILL PEOPLE SWAPPIN SPIT IN THIS PANDEMIC!”
At that point I thought it’d be over but the light was long-winded. And the same kid said, “I have anxiety really bad.” To which I replied, then you need waaaaay more hemp and use a Full-Spectrum because it has a tiny bit of THC in it that will help a lot!”
The light turned green and they had to roll on across but they all hollered back, “THANKS!!!! WE LOVE YOU!!” And I hollered back, “Yer WELCOME! I LOVE YOU TOO!” And waved them on.
What a funny little fling of Life. I think they were surprised to find positive advice from a regular adult to a bunch of kids… but that’s just more fallout of this era of Schedule 1.
But what I was really struck by is the need for adults to recognize what cannabis can do for our kids. They’re patients too. And this insidious misinformation about a plant that can alleviate so many painful stressful human issues must be enlightened by evidence of the truth that science has proven. Oh sure there’s a ton of science that still must happen and I see the day when a blood test will show which chemovars we cherry pick from our cannabis… but it’s still down the road. In the meantime, we must get past our puritan attitudes born out of propaganda and fear. Cannabis is an ancient planetary grass that humans the world over have used since the dawn of time.
Kids need Cannabis too. They have relationship stresses with family, school, and church members, of their own age and adults too. They’re trying to navigate their world but how do they articulate a foggy mind or one speeded up too fast? How do they tell us they can’t shut their minds down to sleep? Or they have intrusive thoughts on constant replay? Their little bones ache and throb as they elongate and if they haven’t had enough food for the day, or education during the pandemic, or whatever the stress… Cannabis comes in so many forms and strengths that every child on the planet should be able to find the perfect dosage for relief. And if you’re still suckin air over this subject, then you need to check your facts and propaganda about cannabis.
