Welcome to the Cannaba Verum podcast, the cannabis truth podcast. I speak the language of cannabis freely and uncensored, while educating my audience on the safe use of this live Plant Therapy. You should know what’s in your cannabis, what’s good and what’s not. It does not come with an FDA stamp of approval yet, using cannabis mindfully, as medication is a different concept in the healthcare philosophy of the past 100 years. There’s a lot to learn and consider cannabis is not dangerous, but it is not harmless, either. This is honey Smith walls, a 21st century cannabis shaman here to explain the language of cannabis in historical, political, and scientific terms, so you can make educated decisions about the medicine you ingest.
Backstory:
Cannabis Legalization News Podcast – episode NJ Weedman
Weedman owns a restaurant in NJ across from City Hall and is currently opening a cannabis lounge in Miami. He’s miffed about the 800,000 illicit market clientele that was usurped by big corporations running in the medical marijuana field.
Hello My friends,
I listen to a few other podcasts for cannabis information across the nation so I can keep an eye on the rolling changes moving at warp speed. I’m pretty picky about whose putting cannabis chatter in my ear because it’s too important to waste time on junk shows. The legal eagles who make up Cannabis Legalization News Podcast are pretty cool and they’re really smart about politics and the law. Check them out whenever you can… Cannabis Legalization News… wherever you listen to podcasts.
Today’s show made me rather enraged at their guest, a guy called Weed Man from NJ. He’s all over Google… he’s a big influencer, and quite famous up there. He’s a street dealer who has a big following and a righteous fight with his state and local government. He’s right about a lot of things and I’ll stand with him and fight for those rights.
But his attitude about contamination floors me. This is my biggest complaint about the Adult-Use bunch. Especially the famous ones because of their far-reaching opinions and influence. Here’s their argument:
‘Cannabis wasn’t tested for thousands of years and people never got hurt… never a recorded death by cannabis on this planet.’ That’s true. Absolutely true.
But you know what? A thousand years ago they didn’t use commercial pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides either… there weren’t as many humans and not nearly as many people had systemic cancers and inflammation from typical foods they ate.
Nor did they over-eat like most of our society has been trained today, nor did they consume as much meat and dairy which causes all kinds of inflammatory issues that our doctors tell us are the root cause of most disease.
Quick access to nutritionally poor and low quality corporate foods have created a sickly society that demands medical attention… for many, even before the ripe old age of 40…
Our society makes food convenience a priority yet fails to inform us of its content’s devastating effects on our bodies. Commerce wins over information. The message is buy buy buy and eat eat eat. You’ve got doctors to take care of whatever happens. Pharmaceutical commercials remind us. But mmmmmm, sure tastes good, doesn’t it?! Have another bite!
I’m not gonna preach about food anymore except to say you must realize the connection between food and your body and a need to medicate.
I popped my cork when I heard Weed Man say: ‘There’s no point in testing… it’s just a ruse for government control.’
That’s the opinion of a guy who stands outside the regulatory decisions of his state and local government. The whole crux of his issue is that he didn’t like the way his legislators shook out the cannabis details for NJ. He got left out. And I understand why he’d be upset about that.
Big old and new white men corporations are setting up shop underneath his business that he cultivated for years on the street as a single vendor. Illegal or not, those are his customers the state of NJ just swiped under the guise of “Medical”. And he says they totally cut him out of an opportunity to BE legal in order to continue assisting his clientele.
What do you think the heads of most corporate cannabis businesses today used to be doing? It was the smart ones who engaged in real business plans and regulatory compliance to become the big corporate dispensaries we now enjoy in Florida. None of those people are ‘untainted’ from the illicit market beginnings. Remember, cannabis is still legally a schedule 1 drug with all the dastardly applications of that title that scatter world wide.
In fact, I can understand why all street dealers would be upset with the prospect of big white guy corporation movin in on their hard won territory. The street dealers are the ones who built up the cannabis industry in their area.
Now trying to make all that a legal prospect is incredibly risky for the dealer and farmer. There are prohibitive costs of red tape and a huge and justified fear of losing the game completely to arbitrary regulation beyond their control.
I’ve been railing against the old white guy problems of our society for years. We need more women in control of corporate America to balance the attitudes of the old white men who have crippled this nation and world with war and racism and hatred.
Break
Look, this guy called Weed Man up in NJ has a real bone to pick with his legislators. And so do you. We choose those people to run our government business for everyone.
So when they legislate cannabis without knowledge or with their own uneducated prejudice on the subject, you just remember that we’re the ones who voted that legislator in and the problems will be far reaching and fantastic to try to correct.
I have a lot of sympathy for the NJ Weed Man. His real name is Ed Forchion and he’s got a proper argument for getting into the legal cannabis industry. He’s made it this far and has a pretty big following. I wish him well because he can influence a lot of people.
But I also wish him education about the damage of contamination in street weed. If he really wanted to invest in the longevity and loyalty of his clientele, he would make certain his product didn’t cause them any harm. As it stands, he’s no better than the cigarette vendors who don’t care about your health, they just wanna sell you their product. If you don’t care about ingesting poisons and bacterial contaminants, then we’re done.
So now let me address the bigger audience who does care.
Street dealers don’t know that people with delicate immune systems can suffer deadly harm from ingesting aspergillos mold that is commonly found in cannabis.
So it won’t be the cannabis that kills your granddad on cancer treatments, looking for a little relief from the nausea… it’ll be the growing mold lining his lungs which will prevent him from getting enough oxygen to survive.
Testing is the only way to prove that what you’re about to ingest is harm-free.
Let me say this plainly… I am not against adult-use. I am not against anyone using cannabis to relieve their issues.
But it is medicine that should be respected as such in that it relieves so many physical and mental issues.
Your federal government acknowledges this truth in their own cannabis patent which you can google.
It claims the compounds within are a Neuro-protectant. Actually, Science has since discovered that it is a RETRO Neuro-protectant… it can actually go in and find certain broken neurons and smack em back together so they work again. The point is, the value of this plant as medication for humans and animals has already been proven and recorded by science.
And then there’s that whole thought of cannabis being used for the last few thousand years… since the dawn of humanity.
Again, I am not against Adult-Use cannabis. But Adult-Use is a term that usurps the medicinal value and nature of this plant. Use it as a toy if you must and call it Adult-Use… that’s your choice. But with knowledge, comes change.
Using cannabis with mindfulness…. to alleviate your aches and pains…. makes it a more powerful tool for uplifting your quality of life.
Demand good regulation around the cannabis you ingest and you’ll find your body will appreciate it so much more because it won’t be trying to survive more poison.
Warning: If you don’t bother making sure your cannabis is clean… then your cannabis isn’t clean. All street weed is contaminated. Even if you bought it in a licensed store, that doesn’t mean there’s a third party lab test on every product you’re about to purchase and ingest. You have to ask. Especially at health food stores when purchasing otc CBD products. There’s no regulation and no FDA approval yet. You have to ask for the 3rd party lab test on every product you buy. If it doesn’t have one… consider it contaminated.
How’s your immune system? Do you get the flu every year? Fighting arthritis? Have Fibromyalgia? IBS got yer tummy in knots? On high blood pressure meds? How’s your Thyroid? Diabetes under control? Did you get your Shingles shot?
Any of these typical issues mean that you have a delicate immune system already fighting serious problems. Do you really want to compound those issues with several daily doses of concentrated contamination in a vape pen, tincture, or gummy?
Friends… California found contaminated PAPERS for rolling cannabis joints!! You just can’t see it coming. So that’s why I do this podcast twice a week. There’s so much to tell you to keep you safe with this live plant therapy. Don’t be fooled into complacency. Our regulatory systems are not fail-safe and they are weak with ignorance. We have to look out for ourselves.
This industry is brand new and changing daily. Question everything. Make it about your safety. You wouldn’t hesitate to ask about the safety of your milk if you heard about contamination issues. That’s why it gets pasteurized.
There are all kinds of new technology poppin up to address these issues and more. Like harvesting a crop right from the dirt into sub-zero freezers, directly in the field, which eliminates all kinds of potential contamination problems.
Other corporate enterprises are trying indoor vertical grows without soil. “Need is the mother of invention…” so I’m sure we’re going to see a multitude of exciting new ideas around cannabis cultivation and use.
I want you to understand how much the plant can do for you and your loved ones so I’ll keep bringing these stories and thoughts your way… you keep checking into the Cannaba Verum podcast… wherever you listen. And be sure and mention my new ebook coming out soon to your friends and family. I’m getting the cover for the book designed, the manuscript is formatted, I’m creating my own publishing company!! Woo HOOO! I’m not only an author! I have a publishing company! All thanks to the ease of technology and forward-thinking companies who create platforms that allow a 67 year old woman to create business from home with a book to sell on a twice-weekly podcast that is gaining viewership by the day because of the opening doors in this business plan. It hasn’t been easy bringing up this business… but the rewards are amazing. The people.

You’ve been listening to another Cannaba Verum podcast with 21st century cannabis shaman Honey Smith Walls, about the importance of using safe hemp and marijuana products. Unless otherwise proven by a reputable third party lab test, please be advised that all street weed is contaminated. It may do grave harm to a patient with a delicate immune system. I challenge you to check the veracity of my statements in each episode by checking the medical citations posted on my blog at Cannaba Verum.com.
