Welcome to the Cannaba Verum podcast, the cannabis truth podcast. I speak the language of cannabis freely and uncensored, while educating my audience on the safe use of this live Plant Therapy. You should know what’s in your cannabis, what’s good and what’s not. It does not come with an FDA stamp of approval yet, using cannabis mindfully, as medication is a different concept in the healthcare philosophy of the past 100 years. There’s a lot to learn and consider cannabis is not dangerous, but it is not harmless, either. This is honey Smith walls, a 21st century cannabis shaman here to explain the language of cannabis in historical, political, and scientific terms, so you can make educated decisions about the medicine you ingest.
Good Morning my friends. I’m so happy to be here with you. I need this time with you to talk to about all this turmoil and try to make some sense of it.
I keep hearing about The Big Lie… but not the one Hitler cultivated.
The Big Lie currently accepted by those fallen prey to false notions… will also be their downfall. We live with a Big Lie in our history of the United States.
The first Big Lie of those who believed in the invisible Being in the sky who magically received Word from On High to justify their behavior and help them accomplish their goals. The second Big Lie of freedom from oppression that didn’t apply to women who were strictly forbidden to be independent. The next Big Lie that people of color were not human enough to regard as the same species. And then a new dawn of white rights began incarcerating people of color in the fictitious War on Drugs in which the real villains of Big Pharma were not held accountable for destroying the lives of countless families and communities. And now the Big Lie of republican politicians who will not acquiesce to real governmental change by vote and process of the people. This lack of truth that fundamentalists are clinging to with their might does not make it right. Their tribal chaos and determination to avoid the truth is dangerously close to disemboweling our democracy through their Big Lie.
People are sheeple. They can be inspired by a call to action to do good or bad. And it seems those who are so disgruntled with our national politics for their own personal plights have every reason to be upset with their politicians who have been lying to them. Those politicians were holding back public aid, putting corporations before people, allowing death on mega-scales because they lack the skills to negotiate terms for the majority of humans they represent instead of their own priorities, and the list goes on.
The Big Lie about cannabis went on for 100 years. (1) Prohibition of alcohol only lasted 13 years, (1920-1933) even though the effects of alcohol account for debilitating liver disease, job loss, social deconstruction, and catastrophic health issues and vehicular death that reach widely across every race and crippled our nation until super-pharmaceuticals became available through prescriptions and black market to overtake the problems of alcohol with their own special darkness.
We have the ability to discern right from wrong and truth from fiction. But we don’t. We choose not to look. We close our eyes to all sorts of terrible behavior.
We choose to shut down our minds to how our meat and dairy is processed so we can continue to eat cows and have all the milk and cheese we want. Because we like the taste! Never mind the animals we eat are sentient loving creatures like ourselves.
We create rules of society so inequitable for women and people of color that equality seems more like a facade than a goal to reach. Women still don’t get equal pay for equal work in 2021. Even though women finally got permission from men to vote in 1920, my little black mother-in-law who was born in 1900, didn’t get the chance to vote for the first time until 1965, because of all the shenanigans white men pulled to keep her from the polls.
TRUTH matters! Deny it, and that suddenly lopsided-balance turns into chaos. We simply MUST live our reality in truth. And the truth of cannabis is that it is really good for you. But hear it from the scientists who proved it themselves. Google Raphael Mechoulam and his cannabis work. Google Ethan Russo and his work in cannabis. Google Dustin Sulak and his work in cannabis. Google Angie Krause for her work in animals and cannabis! These are but a tiny few of our contemporary scientists studying cannabis for human and animal consumption. There are so many more who have completed Random Control Trials with cannabis to find the data we so desperately seek to help people.
And with that data, we’ll be able to better target specific needs and continue to help patients through technology and truthful information.
My particular soapbox is about contamination awareness because I got really sick from using street weed that was full of pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, bacteria, molds, mildews, and batshit…. which by the way is where a lot of our pandemics have come from… Bats. So I’d like to remind you of the most important aspects of cannabis use before you become a patient of the plant… or even after.
- Get your card and use dispensary products which have been 3rd party lab tested.
- Understand the timing of your choice of product before you may feel effects.
- Micro Dose and Titrate your products to find your personal dose.
- Wait to feel an effect before re-dosing and Notate that data.
If you’re still using street weed, be aware that it must all be considered contaminated and you are doing grave harm to your immune system as you continue consuming it.
I understand how hard it can be to find the money to go to another doctor and lay out a couple hundred dollars for a visit and a plastic pot card, and then spend another few hundred at the dispensary. That’s way more than you usually spend. And if you just can’t manage that yet, I still want you to know how you can mitigate the damage of street weed to your system until you can afford to go legal.
This is an appeal to those still using street weed… Hemp is now legal in all 50 states. If you have pain from inflammation like arthritis… or spasms in your gut that wake you up several times in the night for a bathroom run… or heavy anxiety that tears at your mind… please find a full-spectrum hemp product and begin titrating small doses to find your sweet spot of comfort. Save the street weed for serious painful issues and then only micro-dose so you don’t over-consume and do greater contamination damage to your immune system. By combining a full-spectrum hemp product that has been 3rd party lab-tested for contamination and content, you will begin to repair some of your issues, minimize the damage, and save a few pennies by using over the counter hemp which is often a little cheaper, but also by micro-dosing your product as a medicine instead of consuming without mindfulness. Being mindful that this is a medication and not like an alcoholic toy will change your outcome.
This advice works for Medical Marijuana patients with a card, too. Supplementing your current marijuana regimen with a full-spectrum OTC hemp product might save you a little money and add more internal calm to your body. I began using a new product from Dr. Dustin Sulak, from Maine. Full Disclosure, I am his cannabis student and matriculated his courses and received his Healer certification. I attend Dr. Sulak’s monthly continuing education conferences online and began using his new product to help my own issues. Dr. Sulak is a research scientist and clinician with a full patient load. He has discovered the amazing properties of the acidic compounds in cannabis and has developed a product that utilizes gentle technology to capture those delicate chemovars typically burnt up in other processing strategies. The data from his own patient load tells the story of success. So I ordered some and began using it. I’m already surprised to find I’m sleeping hours longer than before. Feeling much more rested. My aching hands don’t wake me in the middle of the night. So something has changed already and I’ve only been using it for a month.
Here’s the thing…. whomever you decide to buy hemp from, for medicine… YOU have to prove to yourself that it’s safe by checking for that 3rd party lab test for contamination and content. Make sure there’s no junk in it and that there IS all the other compounds it’s supposed to have! It’s Buyer Beware out there which I why I’m teaching you how to spot the good stuff.
I am not affiliated with any particular CBD product… but I do talk about American Shaman, Charlotte’s Web, and Dr. Sulak’s Healer CBD products because I trust all three of these companies to make my health their priority. Now you may know several others that pass the lab-test too and that’s wonderful! Please call in and give us a testimony! I’d love to be able to tell our audience they have a huge choice!
So you’ve learned how to find a cannabis doctor near you with google, get a state card if you live in FL, find a dispensary that’s convenient but please try them all for the different products available, and you learned how to micro-dose and titrate tiny amounts to find your sweet spot dose which you’ll notate with each new product to be clear of their effects for you… and you learned how to mitigate some of the contamination damage from street weed by micro-dosing as medicine and supplementing a clean 3rd party legal full-spectrum over-the-counter hemp product.
There is a lot to consider with all the choices available so we’ll be discussing this for a long time to come. Always truthfully to the best of my knowledge and backed up by citations from the scientists who gathered the data from their Random Control Trials.
Everything I’m telling you can be found in the data that cannabis scientists around the world have already written about and published in distinguished medical forums such as the National Institute of Health, ResearchGate, PubMed, and many more.
I’m sure you’ll have lots of questions so please let me hear from you. Find me on FB at my Cannaba Verum page and we can go from there. Or scoot on over to my website at

One last thing before I go… I’m curious to know what you’re reading to change your attitude? Especially during this period of discovery that so many people in our nation are racist. I have recently finished The Devil You Know by Charles M. Blow which is a Black Manifesto for today’s United States.
As white as my 23andMe DNA says I am, with the bigoted upbringing I had, there’s still no way to read this book without feeling the horrors of the inequities of life between human colors. I don’t hold hope in quick change for this issue… but that doesn’t mean the goal is any less important.
The book I read before that is called Caste by Isobel Wilkerson that explains how we came to prioritize humans by color and how we can stop it. It’s not what you might surmise.
I hope to continue reading the new books coming out on race and humanity so I can grow into a more caring individual. The hidden bigotries I was raised with still rear their ugly head on surprising occasions so I know I still have work to do. My husband is not only Black, he’s 22 years older than me. His Black experience on this earth is full of bigotry and hatred. It’s hard to listen to from someone you love. We can change our attitudes, as my precious grandmother used to tell me all the time. And so we must. Pick out a good book today and expand your horizons.

You’ve been listening to another Cannaba Verum podcast with 21st century cannabis shaman Honey Smith Walls, about the importance of using safe hemp and marijuana products. Unless otherwise proven by a reputable third party lab test, please be advised that all street weed is contaminated. It may do grave harm to a patient with a delicate immune system. I challenge you to check the veracity of my statements in each episode by checking the medical citations posted on my blog at Cannaba Verum.com.
