Welcome to season three of the Cannaba Verum podcast, the cannabis truth podcast. I speak the language of cannabis freely and uncensored while educating my audience on safe use of this live plant therapy. You should know what’s in your cannabis. What’s good and what’s not. It does not come with an FDA stamp of approval yet.
Using cannabis mindfully as medication is a different concept in Western healthcare philosophy, specifically the past 100 years. There’s a lot to learn and reconsider. The information you’ll find here comes straight from the scientists and clinicians doing the work and reporting their findings in real time through various live online outlets. The scientific truth of cannabis is finally getting out and is wide open for all to see at respected medical sites like www.pubmed.gov and JAMA, the Journal of American Medical Association (jamanetwork.com).
I’m right there in the thick of it with all those titans of medicine as a fly on the wall. Because I’m not a doctor. I didn’t go to med school. I did take dozens of private cannabis courses offered by cannabis expert scientists online over the past few years and slowly began to understand the bigger picture. Well, I can talk to those medical professionals about cannabis all day long and their patients and hopefully inspire them to research the facts as we know them today.
Cannabis is an amazing alternative in health remedies that can reportedly alleviate typical disease problems and troubling side effects caused by synthetic prescriptions. This is Honey Smith Walls, a 21st century cannabis shaman… not a doctor… not a scientist. Raised by nuns and wolves in the verdant cattle pastures of the Oklahoma oil fields. I’m here to amplify the truth of this great big story and language of cannabis in historical, political and scientific terms… so you can make educated decisions about the medicine you choose to ingest.

Hey friends, we’re here today to talk to Prince Hudson, about BlackHempFamily.com and his farm. I can’t wait for you to see what the life of a cannabis farmer looks like in this day and age. Come on along and meet this beautiful family. Hey, it sounds like I’ve got Prince. Good morning and how are you?
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 3:04
I’m well and yourself?
Honey Smith Walls 3:06
I’m just fine. This is Honey and I’m so tickled to have this time with you, Prince. Thank you so much for coming on to the Cannaba Verum show and helping us understand what it’s like to farm cannabis.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 3:23
Thank you. I’m happy to be here.
Honey Smith Walls 3:24
Tell us where you are. Would you please and I’m looking at your website right now the BlackHempfamily.com Sorry didn’t say right. It’s BlackHempFamily.com. So everybody, please pull it up. It’s a really cool website. And I’m on the family first page showing your family and it’s just beautiful to see and your operation looks fantastic. Shut me up and tell us all about it.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 3:58
Um, first and foremost, I want to apologize for being a little tardy. We had a hiccup with my assistant and how we were doing email versus a text link. So my apologies there. I’m real big on punctuality.
Honey Smith Walls 4:08
Oh, I am to honey and please that was my fault. Not not anything that you all did. I didn’t make myself clear. So it’s perfectly all right. You know what’s happening today, the 5G thing, you know, all over the US. And so that’s giving us pause for hiccups too. So I’m just glad that we got together.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 4:30
Same here same here. Um, last thing, is there a video component or is it audio?
Honey Smith Walls 4:35
No, this is just audio I’m sorry, I don’t do video. I didn’t want to scare anybody this early in the morning. I’m sitting here still in my curlers with my muc-mucs and my you know my moo-moo on.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 4:50
Right? I washed my face this morning so I will…
Honey Smith Walls 4:54
There you go see? Well you guys are always prettier than us girls when you wash your face so we still had stuff to do. Tell us about that moisturizing cream that you all came up with it’s got hemp in it.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 5:11
Okay, well we combined all nature’s well I wouldn’t say all but most of nature’s treasures when it comes to your oils and butters so it’s jojoba oil and sunflower oil and Jamaican black castor, shea butter, emu oil it’s a bunch of different components in there. And that originated from my grandmother.
Honey Smith Walls 5:31
Really?
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 5:32
Yes. She passed away about five years ago she was 92. She’s 92 years old. So her sisters are still living she has one it’s 98, 96 and 93. So you know they’re still trouping around the country they drive themselves to church every Sunday things of that nature. So being of the Earth like a lot of them you know they do grounding while you’re outside working in fields with no shoes on and things of that nature. Fresh spring water, fruits and vegetables we grow we have organic, organic fruits and vegetables was the like the purpose of the farm. So the body butter my grandmother did preserves my entire life and body butters and things of that nature and she distributed them to the community.
Honey Smith Walls 6:19
Oh, she did body butters.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 6:22
Mm-hmm.
Honey Smith Walls 6:23
So would you call it that?
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 6:23
There were salves. Salves or body butters just depending on the texture.
Honey Smith Walls 6:24
Yeah, that well that’s a kind of a new term. Isn’t it? Body butter.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 6:36
Salves, you know the things that are medicated? It’s like your original…
Honey Smith Walls 6:40
Right.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 6:42
Vapor Rub before there was Vicks.
Honey Smith Walls 6:44
Yes, she made a Vapor Rub too. I see it in your product line.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 6:49
Right so she was doing pretty good with business and…
Honey Smith Walls 6:55
What was her name?
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 6:57
Gladys Carter.
Honey Smith Walls 6:58
Gladys Carter, Miss Gladys. Oh how precious. You see I’m so I’m thrilled that you bring up the grandmother, juju because, you know, our grandmothers are so important to us, giving us the history and the wisdom that they have, you know, passing all of that on?
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 7:17
Yes, they have the wisdom we have the fire she will always say you’re like a younger mind. Go check them out.
Honey Smith Walls 7:28
That’s right. So go on. Please. I keep interrupting I’m sorry. I’m just excited about you.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 7:34
I am too and I understand and I appreciate it. So I graduated high school and went to VCU and I finished my Master’s in Public Administration and the farm was inactive because my mom’s generation didn’t want to be farmers. They wanted to branch out and do different things to acquire different skills. So I went back to my mom and said, Hey, I want to reactivate my farm. I’m having a Master’s in Public Administration. I know how small business runs. So she said, Well, what do you want to do? And I said, Well, Mom, I want to grow hemp. She said we want to reefer and I said no. Reefer. She said, Well, show me a piece of paper that shows that’s going to tell us we’re not going to jail. So I pulled up the farm bill the farm 2014 was the preliminary in 2017 it went through. No no, 2016 I pulled it up. Hey, this is about to happen. We need to get on board. So we were the 15th processor in the state of Virginia.
Honey Smith Walls 8:34
Oh my goodness.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 8:36
So now there’s hundreds I think they might have gotten to 1000s at this point. So we started reactivating the farm. We were already doing fruits and vegetables and we incorporated hemp and I went to a trade show. And I said no one at this trade show looks like me. Nobody at the trade show. And this was about 2015 I was at a trade show was in Nashville, Tennessee. And I said I know that my people created a lot of the stuff but we’re gonna miss the boat. So I went back to my mom and said, Hey, do you still have any other salves downstairs? And she said, Well, yes, probably in a box downstairs. I usually go you know when I’m sick or whatever.
Honey Smith Walls 9:18
Oh my gosh.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 9:19
So we went and found it. And she said, Well, I know how to do this. I didn’t know you knew how you wanted to do this. So she broke out the pots and pans and said, Look, I’m gonna show you how to do it. So then my mom went back over what I saw my grandmom doing my whole life and it worked. So my one of my aunt has diabetic neuropathy, which is numbing of the limbs and we gave it to her. And it was about a couple of days later she called and said I finally slept through the night.
Honey Smith Walls 9:45
Oh my goodness.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 9:46
And that’s when we knew we were on to something. So I started giving it to the older people in the neighborhood and you know, no arthritis issues and the people with PTSD we made tinctures and they’re sleeping now and no more episodes where you know, they just kind of feel lost and don’t know what’s going on. And we start to put it out on the on the internet and put it out to people. And we realized that we don’t have an inventory list people kept saying do you do gummies or do this or do that? And our first inventory list was literally two items. It was body butter and tincture.
Honey Smith Walls 10:20
There you go.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 10:21
So we slowly started branching out and then we went to a baker and she does great stuff with baking. So we hired her and she’s part of the family now and then we ran into somebody who does gummies and she’s on payroll now she was able to quit her job and she’s a single mom so she takes care of her son and all that stuff by her you know so supportive the business Yeah, so changing people’s lives little by little and keeping in mind that when you look at the sickness in America and cancer rates and all that stuff, a lot of that happened when they took cannabinoids out of our system.
Honey Smith Walls 10:56
It certainly did.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 10:57
And I was so shocked when I found out that they took so they rewrote history books they took out the entire system of the body.
Honey Smith Walls 11:05
Yes.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 11:06
So just imagine for a moment if we… And forgot (inaudible). Right, right.
Honey Smith Walls 11:10
And they totally eradicated everything about cannabinoids from the medical systems that we have in place.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 11:19
So started doing a little research. Childhood diabetes didn’t exist before that period. There’s no such thing. All these different variations of cancer that stuff did not exist before they took all the needs that we have we ever need a whole system
Honey Smith Walls 11:34
ADD.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 11:35
Right.
Honey Smith Walls 11:36
All of that junk.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 11:37
The inability to focus. I mean, people take cannabinoids and they say you know what? I can focus. Well maybe if we were focusing before we wouldn’t have ADHD and you know those things of that nature. So um for a moment just think like if we decided to take away your respiratory system how long we were last. Or your circulatory system, you know, that can’t play. But it was crazy when I started to look for information and I just couldn’t find it and I said the whole conspiracy. So then I’ve researched Ashlinger and DuPont and the lobbying and…
Honey Smith Walls 12:07
And all of that. Hearst going down to Mexico and writing all those marijuana murder mysteries and bringing them all back into the United States in comic book form, spreading all those lies all of it. This nation would not exist as it is today without cannabis, you cannot sail a ship without ropes and canvas for sails across an ocean without cannabis. And America was built on the back of hemp. So there would not be a white man over here without cannabis. Period.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 12:55
Right. And then, you know, when it comes to the race thing, a lot of people get, I don’t know, bristle up a little bit like oh, this is a difficult topic, but the truth is the truth you know?
Honey Smith Walls 13:05
Not for me.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 13:06
Right as I understand it, because you know, when you say black people of the past in a way you’re talking about me when you say white people of the past and the way you’re talking about you and you know there’s no divide when you say okay, we’re American, but when we talk about someone’s dark part of their past and it becomes Oh with something, you know, touchy, right?
Honey Smith Walls 13:28
Yeah, we just have to get over this nonsense about color and other and this attitude of supremacy because of color. That just, that just doesn’t fly with me. It never has and I came from a somewhat racist family, although they were pretty hush-hush about it to me, or in front of me or tried to be, but it was insidious. I felt it from them. I saw it in them. I didn’t like it. I didn’t feel that way. I didn’t understand it. And I fight it to this very damn day because it ain’t right. And so unless we’re willing to talk about the attitudes that we hold in fear of others and why it’s just gonna stay with us.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 14:23
It will never change. You’re right.
Honey Smith Walls 14:24
It will never change we, you know, we can never forget the offense. But we must look towards kindness and love to get past it.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 14:38
Definitely. So and if we look at how we’re the same we’ll find a lot more likenesses.
Honey Smith Walls 14:44
That’s it.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 14:46
Tons of likenesses.
Honey Smith Walls 14:47
Yeah. So I’m looking at your page of products and I see you’ve got Delta popcorn. Can you tell us how that works?
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 15:03
So we didn’t, we didn’t try to reinvent anything. He asked me hey, you’re in cannabis. And I see you over here and you’re flying over there and you’re Consulting and this and that. What What should I do? How do I get in? And I always tell them to incorporate it into what you already know how to do if you’re a seamstress look for fabric. If you build houses look for hempcrete you know if you’re into mental health, look for the different ways that you can apply cannabinoids to a person and you know properly assess what they have going on and get them off some of those medications.
Honey Smith Walls 15:34
Yeah.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 15:35
So we’re working with everything and doing a body butters and my mom has always made popcorn. She makes popcorn, right? She’s been doing since I was little. Everybody always eats popcorn. Let’s see if we can infuse popcorn. And she laughed and everybody laughed. So we went ahead and did it anyway. And me my mom are avid cannabis users. So we’re talking about it. So she goes to more popcorn and we infused it.
Honey Smith Walls 16:06
Can you tell us how you did that? Or is that a family secret?
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 16:10
I have to ask her first
Honey Smith Walls 16:12
Yeah, I understand. That’s why I asked it that way. That’s okay. So curious about it. I can’t wait to try it.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 16:19
I would definitely send you some.
Honey Smith Walls 16:21
Okay, great.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 16:23
So, oh, my sister she came over and we were doing something with paperwork and she usually use my mom’s popcorn. So she sitting there and hand after hand and then we noticed that her eyes were getting real low and her head was just dropping and she looked at me so was this CBD popcorn or it was this Delta 8 popcorn? I said it was Delta 8 popcorn.
Honey Smith Walls 16:44
Oh, now I see.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 16:49
She slept on the floor that night. She could not drive. She said I can’t make it home. And she’s a cannabis user. But she had eaten I don’t know four or five hands full of popcorn. And yes, she slept on the floor that night. And that’s when we realized hey, she woke up I said we got something we’re gonna use you as corporate spokesperson every time I asked how strong it is… I’m going to point to you.

Prince Hudson, Cultivator 2:04
That’s the beauty of it. Um, we’ve made it in different ranges. So a serving could be anywhere from 30 to 90 just depending on as we get into branding more of it. We’re going to have different color labels associated with the different strengths so people can differentiate when they walk into a store.
Honey Smith Walls 2:24
Oh, that makes sense.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 2:25
Yes. We look for things that are not conventional. When you look at a… when you go to a trade show people have gummies, they have tinctures they have something you can eat probably some type of, I don’t know. It’s usually about six, seven things that everybody has. So when we went into what we’re going to create, we took those six things and put them to the side and said What else can we do? So we make infused cornbread, we make cakes, we make waffle mix.
Honey Smith Walls 2:52
I just made a pot of beans. I need some of that corn bread.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 2:55
That cornbread. So like the the great aunts, they’ll get a pan of corn or they’ll get the mix of cornbread and they’ll have it after church and the whole house is asleep.
Honey Smith Walls 3:06
Do you mail it?
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 3:10
Yes, I do. We’ll definitely get you some of those things. Yeah.
Honey Smith Walls 3:12
Cuz’ I’m not seeing cornbread on this list right here. So I’m just saying I’m thinking your web designer needs to put a pretty picture of your grandmother’s cornbread or your mother’s cornbread up there.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 3:23
I agree.
Honey Smith Walls 3:25
Alongside a big old bowl of butter beans.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 3:29
I will jot that down.
Honey Smith Walls 3:33
Yeah, man. Oh goodness. My grandmother was such a wonderful cook. Wondering about the your future in products and in farming consultations. How is that going for you and are you finding today’s farmers confused? Are they fearful about corporate farming? You know, what’s the attitude of people who are coming to you in consultation? For consultation in this industry?
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 4:10
I hate to group people but it’s typically two groups. One is hey, I’m a farmer. And I’m understanding of pH and high beds and I know how to farm I just want to know what hemp needs and that’s usually real easy.
Honey Smith Walls 4:26
Same thing as a tomato.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 4:26
Right like this is a turnkey type of situation you already have everything set up you got workers you know what’s going on. Hey change this might want to increase that decrease this pretty simple. Now the other one is the one that frustrates me it’s the businessman that says hey, you know I own a nightclub. I’m in real estate and I want to grow cannabis. Okay, great. Where do you want to start?
Honey Smith Walls 4:28
Right.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 4:35
I don’t know anything about land. I don’t know anything. Matter of fact, I’m gonna talk to you once or twice and I’m gonna move you off to this other person who doesn’t know what’s going on and then typically, they end up paying and they start something and never finish and I usually tell these people you can’t throw money at the ground and expect a plan to grow.
Honey Smith Walls 5:12
No.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 5:13
It takes love, it takes attention you know daily dedication. You can’t you know, a real estate deal, you leave the people working you come back in a month. The house is fine. You sell the house. It’s really you know, hands off but when it comes to something living, you know, you can’t have a pet and leave it there for a week and come back and expect everything to be fine.
Honey Smith Walls 5:31
How much property do you have for farming, Prince?
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 5:38
My family had 1000 acres.
Honey Smith Walls 5:40
Goodness. That’s in Virginia?
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 5:40
Yes, about two acres about two years but had 1000 acres about a generation ago. So my mom’s generation so the cousins and stuff there they started selling it off. We now have a 215-acre plot on the other side of the street. We have a 24-acre plot. And then we have some other pieces a little eight here and four there six there.
Honey Smith Walls 6:08
Okay. Let me ask you this: Yeah, and now it’s not I get it. Same thing happened in my family with a little bit of property because it started you know, anyway. So my question to you then is, do you rent your farm farming abilities to other people who would like to farm but perhaps don’t know how?
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 6:39
As far as?
Honey Smith Walls 6:41
Yeah. Or would you rent your property to another farmer who would like to come in and grow something but doesn’t have the property. You know, wants to come in and grow hemp alongside you but doesn’t have the property. But would still like you know, do you rent farming, if you will, cannabis grows for that sort of thing? Here’s another question. Are you dry farming anything? And have you do you know anything about have you? I’m sorry, let me say this in a better way. Have you heard of DNA farming?
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 7:20
Yes. So what was the first question?
Honey Smith Walls 7:23
Okay, so the first question is, see I and the reason I’m apologize for saying this poorly. I had the pleasure of visiting a local farm last week, and I noticed some of the things that they were doing is, and they’re city farmers, so they don’t have much property, but they have enough that they can offer space to other people who would like to grow hemp. I thought that was a cool idea. You know, they’re growing their own hemp, but they’ve also got, they’ve set aside a little bit of space that they can rent to other farmers. And I liked that idea. I thought that was you know, inclusive. I like that idea. But, but I asked them if they heard also of DNA forming, which is letting a patient hold the seeds in their mouth for a period of time, you know, a few minutes, 10 minutes, whatever. And then planting those seeds so that those seeds will grow specific to that human’s DNA and grow the necessary compounds that that human needs to balance its endocannabinoid Omh. And so I just thought it was a fabulous idea. You know, I just learned about it not too very long ago, myself. And then there’s another kind of farming that just blew me away, called dry farming. Which is where you let’s first let’s let’s talk about tomato you, you know, put the seed in the ground and it starts to grow and you’re doing the regular water routine. And then just as it starts to blossom with the fruit, and it gets just a little bit you know, maybe I don’t know the size of a grape, you stop watering it and instead of feeding that fruit that fruit is now in survival mode, and all of the terpenes and other potent compounds are being squished into that juicy little fruit trying to help it survive. So now it’s got more potency in both, you know, flavor and medicinal value and nutritional value. And that’s called dry farming. And then at the very end, you open the water back up and give it enough to you know, survive and then you pluck it and it’s more tasty item. So I’m wondering if dry farming would be applicable to growing cannabis as well. You know, would it would dry farming make it more potent or grow different compounds because of the way it’s trying to survive? With or without water.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 10:34
Got you. DNA testing, I mean the DNA farming, I was unfamiliar with the, putting the seed in your mouth and that type of thing I’ve heard of injecting or introducing it to different organic compounds and then it will change so we done some DNA farming but it was more so based on what we put it next to. What we grew up next to versus a human interaction, if that makes sense.
Honey Smith Walls 11:08
It does. It’s just like you know, putting it next to an orange grove putting a cannabis grow next to an orange grow you’re gonna get lots of you know, citrus terpenes coming into your cannabis grow or you know, or if you’re five miles away from the dump, you could get all that stuff to.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 11:28
Very true or like when you do your most people know that when you before you start planning anything you do a soil test. So if you’re doing a soil test and you have some type of sewage or something running under there or some type of something of that nature, you could pull toxins into your flower.
Honey Smith Walls 11:46
Right? Cannabis likes to do that. That’s how they cleaned up Chernobyl after the big explosion. They planted hemp and to clean out and all of that yeah and still on it. That’s right.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 11:55
Remember that down at the Gulf.
Honey Smith Walls 11:59
Of course. I mean, I’ve got residue runoff from the yards right down in the pond, you know, in the backyard where I live, and I’m thinking geez, wouldn’t it be nice if I could just throw a few hemp seeds out there to clean up all that stuff in the water
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 12:16
Or harvest that fungi and then keep it somewhere that has air you can introduce it to whatever you’re growing back at the house.
Honey Smith Walls 12:24
Oooo.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 12:26
Yep, just scoop it up and you don’t want to close it because it will kill it and it will die off. But if you scoop it up and have a day or so was just sitting you can introduce it to your plants.
Honey Smith Walls 12:36
Well I just love the way you think.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 12:39
I’m a country boy at heart. I’ve lived all over the US but I can track, I can hunt, I can fish and start a fire. I know now how not dropped me off in the woods. I know how not to die. So…
Honey Smith Walls 12:52
Same thing I was brought up that way. My grandparents lived through, you know, they lived in Indian Territory before it was Oklahoma. And they lived through you know, the great wars, and it scared the bejesus out of them. Even though my grandfather never had to go to war. He still taught me that down there on their property in Arkansas. There’s a cave and a running creek you know, with a spring in it. And and there’s plenty of walnut trees and and stuff that we can hunt and fish and and you know eat. So it has always been in the very back of my mind since I was a three-year-old kid that if I needed to I could run away from the world to that property and exist and survive.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 13:46
That’s powerful. If you know, technology is what it is and you know it’s helping and it’s a hindrance at times as well. But you know, the Earth isn’t going to stop being the Earth whether all these computers stopped working or whatever you’re going to have to know how to survive. With dry farming, what we call it is stress testing.
Honey Smith Walls 14:08
Oh.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 14:09
So when we have a new phenotype that we’re introducing, or just a new strain altogether, and we say hey, how’s this going to take with this? You know, we have hard red clay. That’s hard all our dirt is a beet red.
Honey Smith Walls 14:24
That’s where I came from too and Oklahoma. It’s hard red clay.
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 14:27
So you have to figure out what’s going to work well. What will mold easy. What is going to deal better with infestation, things of that nature. So if we see a plant that’s not acting right, we’ll just stop feeding it and see what to do and most of the time it will double back even stronger saying hey, we’re about to die, we need to do something. So it’ll come back stronger and sometimes it’s even stronger flower than before. But um, yeah, we call it stress testing. We also shake our tree so once they get a little get pretty tall. We’ll walk out and shake each one not real close to the root about midway up because that simulates the wind blowing, which stimulates the roots which allow them to dig in even deeper saying, Hey, we might blow away let’s dig in.
Honey Smith Walls 15:14
So you have an indoor grow?
Prince Hudson, Cultivator 15:16
We have several indoor grows here in Virginia, we have an indoor grow and Alamosa, Colorado that we partner with. So we’re doing THC dominant plants there. And then we have the 20 acre with a 24 acre plot that I mentioned from before 20 acres of it is pretty much wooded. We have it surrounded because for a good reason a lot of people steal hemp and then get mad that it’s not weed, you know. So we have three acres in the middle that we’re doing a lot of growing there.
Honey Smith Walls 15:52
How do you determine the compounds that you want to, you know, check into and see if they’re gonna be advantageous? How do you determine that who’s your who’s your go to science guy?
Honey Smith Walls 16:12
Don’t you just love this conversation with Prince Hudson about the Black Hemp family and all that he’s doing up there. It’s just amazing to hear what farmers are coming up with how they’re producing great products for us and what they truly care about. I love the story of his grandmother. But wait till you hear what’s coming up next. His mama makes an appearance. Oh goodness, she’s so precious. Come back and chat with us next week.
Honey Smith Walls 17:42
Guess what, dear audience? I’m stepping outside my little podcast bubble to start a brand new live audience adventure with a sweet friend you already know. It’s Kay Tummino. She’s so wonderful to listen to. And she’s helping me understand my calling to help you. I’m very interested in becoming Shaman. With the knowledge I’ve gleaned about cannabis. But like the infinite mystery of sky, there’s a lot to learn. Kay and I will be discussing the spiritual side of cannabis. Not to be confused with the teachings of religious denominations. The spirit of cannabis is a living communicating organism far more mysterious than the imagination of religion. Cannabis helps us accept introspection, a deeper look inside the whys of what we do. Kay is wonderfully close to the Earth’s spiritual treasures and a marvel at helping you open up to aha moments that feel like a little epiphany change in your life. Come join us live on Mondays at 8am Eastern with your brew of choice and ask us anything. We want to help you understand all kinds of truths. Live Chat on Clubhouse, Mondays, 8am Eastern, it’s called Rising Cannabis Connections or just search my name. You know it’s me, Honey Smith Walls

You’ve been listening to another Cannaba Verum podcast with 21st century cannabis shaman Honey Smith Walls about the importance of using verifiably safe products. The process of getting a diagnosis from your family doctor and taking your records to a cannabis specialist can lead you to the correct cannabinoid therapy for those issues. Otherwise, you’re just your own guinea pig looking for answers without any foundational knowledge or ability to determine the best choices or strategies. To find a qualified cannabis expert in your area, visit cannabisclinicians.org It is a National Society of cannabis experts. And you’ll see that link down in my show notes. Unless otherwise proven by a reputable third party lab test, please be advised that all street weed is contaminated. It may do grave harm to a patient with a delicate immune system who already have inflammatory issues like arthritis, IBS, fibromyalgia or worse. Subscribe to the Cannaba Verum podcast and become part of a project to understand the effects of cannabis on the public. Your anecdotal testimony is priceless to me. Medical citations are posted on my podcast blog when you visit CannabaVerum.com That’s c-a-n-a-b-a-v-e-r-u-m.com. Hey and one last thing. Would you take an extra second to give my podcast a like and review? It’s like Bitcoin crack for the algorithms. Thanks so much. Hey, I hear the cows callin’.

Cannaba Verum is Latin for Cannabis Truth. Sourcing factual information about cannabis hasn’t always been easy for a variety of reasons. However now because of modern innovations, it is. My sources are from leaders in cannabis science like:
Roger Adams, U.S. Organic Chemist who isolated the structure of CBD,
Raphael Mechoulam, Israeli Organic Chemist who isolated the structure of THC,
Ethan Russo, Dir R&D International Cannabis and Cannabinoids Institute
Dustin Sulak, DO – my favorite doctor at healer.com, teaching the art of Cannabis Healing to the world, and other industry greats like:
Rev. Dr. Kymron DeCesare, Ed Rosenthal, Jack Herer, Michael Backes, and Michael Pollen and so many more… plus I use classical sites like: PubMed.gov, JAMAnetwork.com, ResearchGate.com. I listen to several daily podcasts to keep up with the latest cannabis news across the nation and throughout the world like: Dr. Codi Peterson et al on The Cannigma Podcast, MJTodayDaily.com and MarijuanaMoment.net. I trust the CBDProject.org and CannabisScienceTech.com. I watch the National Cannabis Industry Association (NCIA) at: thecannabisindustry.org and many more like: NCIA’s Cannabis Industry VOICE (CannabisRadio.com)
Over past episodes of Cannaba Verum, we’ve listened to some amazing scientists and medical professionals talk about their discoveries and patient successes as hundreds of questionable compounds rise to the public grasp. I am especially interested in the pharmacists movement becoming an integral part of this new medicinal choice.
Watch this machine roll into action through conversations with pharmacy doctors all over the nation like Dr. Leah Johnson out West and Dr. Alan Ao up North. There are so many more but these two have come on my show to explain the situation and it’s fascinating.
You’ll find Citations available on my podcast blog at cannabaverum.com
PS: Helping society get past the fear of using cannabis will be a lifelong journey for me. This industry is just opening up and most patients and doctors are seriously cannabis naive and need help understanding where to turn for trustworthy information.
If you need help opening that cannabis discussion with your family doctor, please reach out and grab the Dear Doctor Letter I wrote for this exact purpose. It will explain your decision to try cannabis and ask for their help in monitoring your labs and progress. It will also show them where they can find medical research on the subject of your diagnosis and the effects of cannabis.
You’ll find that letter at cannabaverum.com
