Yall know I’m like an open book. I love inspiring other women like me to start their own thing… So many women don’t know… their own talent and skill set will make a living for them… they just have to realize they can create something out of nothing. They can answer some question that will solve a problem.
When you start looking at the problems that annoy you, solutions seems to soon arrive. Remember that old adage? Need is the Mother of all Invention.
Is there a solution you noticed that somebody else may be grateful for? Can you scale that idea from 1 person to 20? Or more?
Do you have a computer and smart phone? Know how to play on FaceBook? Love YouTube videos? Online internet business is freeing women all over the world.
I found a formula.
A website with e-commerce,
a free Podcast,
a book to sell,
an Email-collection company
and then point them all to my site where I have:
affiliate partners,
books,
courses,
and merchandise pages.
It grows slowly with trust. I’m in 3rd year of business but just started this plan in January. Laying the foundation for it is the heaviest lifting. There are certain learning curves for apps and platforms and things that have to work together.
But it’s key to understand that you don’t have to know how all at once… you can definitely learn on the fly!! And that’s what most entrepreneurs do.
They try something, make small corrections, try again…until success! That’s the heart of it. The grit is in alllllll the many steps in getting to your first e-dollar! But if you’re doing this around something you love… “Driving Jeeps”, Mountain Climbing, Helping people understand cannabis…. It’s all the sweeter because it’s what you’re passionate about. The days of working a hated job you’re tied to can be over. And so can the days of emotional poverty. When you’re involved in a service that helps other… your life is transformed. There’s that word again. Look…
I’m 67 and doing it on the cheap. I already had an iPhone and iPad and earbuds… I already had the solution to the problem worked out…which for me, is teaching about cannabis… and I packaged it in a book, then I promote that on my podcast, and grow my audience from social media and visiting other podcasts and social media club rooms as a guest xpert.
Everything leads back to my website hooked up to e-commerce to give you opportunities to click on the same educational sources I went to… for a savings to you… and a percentage to me.
This is my business model. And YOU are helping me grow into it. YOU are my original tribe. And YOU are the most important person I’m trying to help. Your quality of life can be lifted by using cannabis therapy for typical issues we suffer, both physically and mentally. And don’t forget our pets…
I think a lot of women feel stuck in their situation without a vision of how they can get themselves to independence. I don’t think they realize they can learn on the go and focus their attentions to success… in small incremental steps.
The very least you need to do what I’m doing is a smart phone with earbuds, a laptop, and internet access. That’s all the equipment you’d need to start a free podcast on Anchor (where I do it), a blog or website, and soon… a book or course to sell. There are free downloads of how to write a quick book that takes allll the questions out of it. My ebook is not like most… I found a unique advantage and brought experts into my sourcing. You could do that too!
I feel like I finally have the keys to independence. It was the education I was missing. It escaped me until now because I couldn’t suffer their strict protocols in school. Learning was really hard for me. Some get that information while they’re still young in schools and universities and corporate organizations… but I found mine later in life, through the internet. Sometimes for free, sometimes in $20 increments, sometimes for $1000. That money was always an investment in myself and business.
The point is… you can do this too. What I’ve learned can be applied to anything. Pokémon games or Silver Casting, Organic Grows or Glass Blowing. I pointed it at my passion of helping others understand cannabis in order to lift their quality of life.

I love helping you understand this fascinating world of cannabis. It’s only going to get more complicated as the scientists discover new information about it and legislators screw up the regulations around it from state to state. So I’m trying to digest and consolidate the most important and interesting stuff that will affect you.
I feel like I have a connection to the neurons in your mind… and I’m so grateful you choose to spend a little time with me. I spend a lot of time with scientists who are way smarter than me so that makes you their students as well cause all I can do is talk about what I’ve learned from them…
I spoke to a guy in Tunisia the other day… he was the Support Tech for VistaPrint.com and I paid $10.00 to get professional design help with my brand. I use VistaPrint.com for so many business things like cards and signs and posters… I’ve even used VistaPrint.com to build little websites.
In fact, until I get my proper e-commerce site up, which is a story of mistakes in itself… my current site is back at VistaPrint.com (I hope) because their support is so good and their software so user friendly.
They built their platforms for old farts… which I appreciate so much. So my VistaPrint helper’s English was so good my ear didn’t catch on for a couple minutes. But when I had to explain what peanut butter is, I knew he was from some very different culture.
And guess what… he’s 30… went back home to live with his parents on a tiny Tunisian island, and his gig is helping people like me, figure out what colors and fonts they want on business media from his desk in his bedroom overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
See a recurring theme here? I’m sitting outside in my lanai, keeping an eye on politics on my Spectrum iPhone app, listening to a Blue Jay’s bitter dispute with a Mockingbird family in the magnolia tree and writing my heart’s content to you.
Did somebody pay me for doing this? No. But they will… later… when I get the e-commerce set up on my website so they can buy my new book coming out soon… The Language of Cannabis – Learning to Medicate. And I’ll make a lot more connections available to my audience as we grow together.
I can also take all these nearly 100 episodes and repurpose them to sell to industry newspapers and magazines and content for blogs for other people. See what’s happening? I’m creating many different streams of income that all fall under the big umbrella of ME!
