I do NOT want to talk about this but the prevalence of corruption in government agencies as well as private corporate leadership has got to be addressed and eradicated like the systemic disease it is.
I’m watching our society trying to change into the concept that I’ve had in my head ever since I first heard the term in grade school, “…justice and freedom for all.”
I know you understand my confusion growing up and trying to figure out why our political rhetoric was one thing but the actions of those in charge were another. The double-talk never made sense… the dots never connected… until you understood the corruption lying underneath the issues. Now it all makes sense.
So we’re smart enough to BE corrupt against the will of the majority who are concerned for themselves and their neighborhoods… So I contend we’re smart enough to defeat the problem of corruption. Pretty sure Artificial Intelligence could provide assistance here. And immediately expose a suspicious incident. Sound a little too Big Brotherish? You’d rather live with major corruption throughout our society?
People…. we’re colonizing on Mars because we’ve screwed up EARTH! What don’t you understand about corruption devastating our world??? How many more newspaper articles about ice caps melting and hurricanes increasing and fires raging, storms flooding and pandemics rapturing millions of people do you need to go through?
What are you waiting for?
NOBODY IS COMING TO SAVE US… Except US!
So even though this is far above my pay grade, I believe we can accomplish the task of be-ridding ourselves of this insidious human character flaw… I don’t know the exact formula for programming goodness into humans instead of what’s happened… but I do know that love and kindness and patience will be instrumental… as well as allowing all humans to start the process on the same page so we know the same information. And never forget how we got here and had to change.
The disparity in education from racism has got to be over. We have to create a uniform educational system that teaches better life lessons for relationships of all kinds as well as how systems of the world work. A high school education should be enough to get a job that feeds and houses yourself. But it hardly gets you into a part-time hourly standing position at McDonald’s with no tips allowed.
We can do better. We have A.I. And the past year taught me a lot about online education. How wonderful the convenience of learning at home is while Life Interrupts, has been the silver lining of the pandemic for me.
Yep… I’m desperate for face-to-face again, and hugs, and wild laughing sprees, and singing loudly together, and long hours of shopping for fun (or therapy)… But it may be another year before any of that can happen. We must be careful still… if we want to survive.
In Marijuana Biz Magazine online today, I read the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) is going after established state compliant cannabis growers again throughout the nation. It’s just my opinion…. But I don’t see a reasonable explanation, except corruption. The federallies could support the industry by helping burgeoning companies comply with federal regulatory issues but for their attitude about impunity. I’m not presenting facts here because frankly, I don’t like the acid it jumpstarts in my gut by reading it all off to you. Go look it up for yourselves or read what I did at Marijuana Biz Magazine online.
I’m just gonna say it… And people get so mad at me when I do… but I’m so sick of old white guys, screwing the entire public to make money. And I’m talk about YOU! Big Oil, Tobacco, Big Pharma & all their Opioids, the Cotton industry for Slavery and on and on throughout the history of MANkind.
In this day of computerized creativity, we can tackle this problem of corruption in our freedoms much like we did the Rule of the Road for driving vehicles in public. We HAVE laws to abide by and corruption must finally be punitive for those who engage in it. Too many elite corporate leaders have successfully avoided paying for their sins against the United States at large. We must find the courage to rectify this systemic corruption of the rich and incentivize a new attitude of whole wellness for all with basic human and animal needs guaranteed. Because we can. Because it’s just. Because that’s what we’ve been leading up to ever since the creation of the U.S. Constitution. We are an experiment in progress and can write our own rules of engagement. It does not have to include tolerating the devastation of corruption, political or corporate.
Consider the devastating attitude about cannabis during the War on Drugs before science told us the truth… now consider the 77,000 full-time jobs created through cannabis during the COVID-19 pandemic. “At a workforce of 321,000 people across 37 states, the cannabis sector now outweighs dentists, EMTs and electrical engineers, and is the fastest growing industry in America. Legalizing and regulating cannabis is an economic plus” According to Kyle Jaeger of Marijuana Moment Business news read on leafly.com or their app if you have it. I get Marijuana Moment in my email every day to keep an eye on what’s happening across the US. One of the show hosts is a single dad with obvious issues he’s always talking about and I find him very relatable. And their news is juicy. Speaking of reading… What’s the title of your latest interesting book? You know as white people, we need to be enlightened about the reality and terrible plight of people of color in this day and age and how our society and government have treated them for our entire history. We have to teach ourselves to do better in our relationship with others.
I just bought Joy-Ann Reid’s new book, “The Man Who Sold America”. The author is one of my favorite news journalists on MSNBC and I wanted to support her. I’m glad I got the book. It’s an in-depth page-turner about you know who. If you’re a political geek like me, you’ll love it. I listen to her sweet voice on the audio version and turn the speed up to 1.25 where it’s still easy to listen to but gets through the book a little faster. Her language is raw and emotional. There are certain terms that may seem confusing to the public so let’s dive into some of them.
The Spectrums… + 1
A dispensary can make products that come with all 400+ compounds they term
”Full Spectrum”. That would be the whole flower in its raw form.
They also make Broad Spectrum products that have some specifically chosen compounds but not all of them. Each dispensary creates their own choice of compounds in a broad-spectrum product and will promote it for whatever they made.
And then there are products that are simple Isolates… just one compound.
Obviously, the product with the most compounds is going to be the most helpful.
And the only way to determine the content you have in your hand, aside from seeing the actual product and label, is by a 3rd party lab test.
So when you’re shopping for a product with the most relief and value for your money, I’d say buying the whole plant would be the most efficient purchase. But the way you use it has a bearing as well. Gosh there’s so much to figure out!
